environment and youth authorities lunch the first national environmental performance framework

in the presence of H.E. Dr. Reem Al-Fulaij, Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Affairs, and H.E. Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, the Environment Public Authority (EPA) and the Public Authority for Youth signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to launch the first national framework for measuring environmental performance in youth and sports facilities.
The memorandum was signed by Ms. Nouf Behbehani, Acting Director General of the Environment Public Authority, and Mr. Bashar Abdullah, Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Youth, in the presence of several executive leaders.
The memorandum aims to strengthen institutional partnership, develop a unified guiding framework for measuring environmental performance and sustainability reporting, and launch the “Sustainability Ambassadors” program to equip and empower young people to support environmental initiatives and promote environmental awareness.
Both parties affirmed that the memorandum represents an important step toward transforming youth and sports facilities into practical platforms for implementing environmental initiatives and strengthening social responsibility in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
